Right around the corner from our house there is a nice park with these great bucket swings. I just love 'em!

I've really gotten the hang of this thing. It was a bit more difficult than you might think, but well worth the effort. I highly recommend this model. Nice and chewy.

Grandma Mim Visits!

This past week, Grandma Mim came out to visit me! I was so excited to see her, I could hardly wait, and we had such a fun time! She brought me lots of great stuff, like cool socks, an armadillo, books, clothes and a cool cape that she made for me! We played, and went to the zoo, and out for lunches, and had all sorts of fun!

Here we are, sitting on the floor and playing around. Grandma Mim got me this fun frog bib! You can see Mei Mei, my cat, in the background, too. I just noticed that she exists for the first time, about two weeks ago. Dad swears that she's been here the whole time, though.

Aunt Namrata's Baby Shower

Last weekend I went with Mom to Aunt Namrata's surprise baby shower! She's gonna have a little boy in October! I can't wait to meet him. Then, we can play together!

She was so surprised and happy!

This is Aunt Mini. I used to hate her, and I'd scream every time I saw her, but now we're old friends, and get along great.

I gave her these two books for her little boy, because I love Guess How Much I Love You, and Goodnight Moon makes me scream. Really. Every time.

Go Stanford!

So, as you know, Dad wants me to go to Cornell, which is their alma mater, but Mom is pulling for me to go to Dad's other alma mater, Stanford! She likes the weather there more.
This is a great jumper that their friend Carol sent me! And behind me is a wonderful afghan that Dad's friend Celeste sent to me. She actually knit the whole thing for me! Wow!

Washed and Dried

Mom had a lot to take care of today, so she figured it would save time if, instead of giving me a bath, she just tossed me in the washer and dryer with a load of Dad's clothes! The spin cycle was great fun, and, as you can see, I came out squeaky-clean!

Don't get me wrong, my crib is great and all, but I think I'll be taking my naps here, now!

Sitting

Recently, I've decided that just lying around all the time is for babies, so now, I sit up, as a proper lady should.*
