Old Friends, New Friends

 While in New York, we met up with some old friends of my folks -- and their kids! We went to the NY Botanical Gardens and had a lovely time!

We even got to decorate (and EAT) cookies...

Ok, that's enough of picture-time!  Let's take a walk!

Outing

Karina and I decided to go for a drive.

First, we went over to Princeton for a walk around campus. 

And then we went over to a place where you get to paint stuff.  I made a nightlight and Karina made a jewelry box.

I don't know why they had us wear these blue smocks!  We wouldn't have gotten any paint anywhere...

 Say "cheese"!  We were framed, I tell you, framed!

Karina!

We drove out to see my cousins, Karina and Brandon!  I think that Karina and I are like the cousins on the Patty Duke Show!  Identical, no?

 We had the BEST time!  We painted for a while, and then painted ourselves, just for fun.  Just water, moms, don't worry!

 Then, of course, we worked on our blogs...

And then relaxed and watched the tube with Brandon.

New York

 

Ok, so this is all out of order, since we did this before Disneyworld, but that takes precedence over all else, so now I'll get to the stuff that happened before we went to Florida!  Mama, Pink and I (and Dad, too), went to New York City!  Here we are, at the Central Park Zoo!

We saw all sorts of great things, like the seals, polar bear and red pandas!

 And there were also these amazing bird-people.  Ok, those were in the windows at Bergdorf-Goodmans. And you cam play Where's Lela in this picture...

 We stopped off for a snack at the cafe.  Cooooookies!  Which we ate like this.

 And we got to squash a penny!

Came out pretty well, actually!
