Baseball Season

When I was a newborn, Boppa got me this great baseball mitt and ball! I was a bit too small for it back then, but now that baseball season is underway, I thought I'd give it a shot!

Ok, ball goes in here. Got it.

And I reach in, find the seams..

Go into the windup, AND... *CRASH-SHATTER-BANG* RUN, RUN! No more photos! You never saw me here!

KiteFest2

Dad had a different kite flying style than Mom. He favored the Lying In The Grass approach.

Worked surprisingly well!

Dad, can we fly it *really* high?

Not too bad, Dad!

KiteFest1

The other day, Mom and Dad took me to the Kite Festival!

It was REALLY windy! Just right for the occasion!

I shall soar with the eagles!

Mom, do you really think this is going to work? I mean, you only sprang for the $1.98 kite at the drugstore. It's never going to fly. Nope. Not gonna work.

RUN, MAMA, RUN! It's flying! It's flying! HELP!

Yay! I'm flying a kite! I'm flying a kite!

Birthday Party IV

At last, the good stuff!

Cupcakes and presents!

Thanks Mom! These look like storybook cupcakes! Wow!

Ella was there, of course! She and I sat down to our cupcakes together.

Um, are you gonna finish that?

After cupcakes, it was FINALLY time for presents! Man, oh, man, did they make me wait, like, forever!
What's in this one??

Ella and Fiona came over to help me open them all up.

And you know me! No waiting around, as I see it! We broke 'em right open and started playing!

Being a good hostess, I was happy to share my great new toys and books. For a bit, anyway. Don't nobody take nothin' with you on your way out.

Birthday Party III

Mom got the coolest thing for the party!

A giant parachute!

Thanks so much, Mama!

Hey, Dad! Put down the camera and come on in!

Birthday Party II

We had lots of great activities at my party!

With this sidewalk chalk, I shall make the greatest masterpiece of modern times.

Carefully selecting colors...

A few expressive strokes!

Yesser, I think I've got a masterpiece here! Did you know that Jackson Pollock lived here when he was a kid? I think I can do WAY better than him, nevermind that My Kid Could Paint That girl!

More party photos to follow!

Birthday Party I

As you all know, I'm now officially TWO YEARS OLD! Wow. Practically an adult. I threw a sophisticated party -- really just a gathering of a few friends. More of a salon than a party. Très Chic!

Everything is prepared. Now, I just wait for the first guests to arrive!

Fiona was a lovely guest! She pushed me in the swing for a long while!

Then, we sat and had a snack!

Then I sat down with the boys. Of course, I had to show them how to comport themselves like proper gentlemen.

Boys. What can you do?

More soon!
P.S. Thank you Namma for making me this pretty dress!

Gone fishin'

Thanks Cousin Karina for the great fishing puzzle!

Ok, so I cheated a bit.
I hope you come out to visit soon! I'll take you fishing and we can leave our boring folks at home!

Mama Goose

Hey Great Aunt Shelle and Great Unkie Jeff!

Pardon me! I'm engrossed in my reading!

Ooh! Humpty Dumpty!

And what have we here?

Oh, and a cat with a fiddle!

That's so silly!

Mom, have you read this one? The rhyme scheme is quite sophisticated.

Thank you Aunt Shelle and Uncle Jeff!

Piano Girl

I'm a big girl now, a full two years old! So that means lots of great birthday loot!

Aunties Ari and Cindy sent me this amazing piano! It's beautiful and I think I can play it really well!

I'm working on my technique!

Here, I choose my sheet music, and then give it a shot!

THANK YOU AUNTIES!

Easter II

Why stop looking outside?

Ella put on her egg-finding radar!

I used them too. And look! An egg!

Mumble-mumble-munff-merff...

Got another!

How about back here?

And another! Somewhere around here, there is a very tired chicken.

Happy Easter everyone!
