Ella's Visit

I decided to have Ella over for the evening last weekend.

We played Ring Around the Rosie!

Dada makes a good toy!

We all fall down!

After we wore Dad out, we played more with George!

Oh-oh! George fell all the way down onto his face! Guess he's done in, too.

Then we played with my George in the Box for a while with Mom.

And we had a nice snack.

And, as always, we finished off the evening with a few nice books!

A Visitor

Now that I have a house, that means that I can start having house guests!

Reading Glasses

All my faithful blog readers know that I am not only a prolific writer, but also an avid reader.

Like most folks, after reading too much, I now need to read in my reading glasses.

What? I swear, these are prescription. Really. I get them from Elton John's optometrist.

We've been too busy lately, as you can see!

Our House!

Well, I know that we are long overdue for posting some photos of my new house! Dad and I had to finish more of the decorating before I wanted to show it off!

Ok, Dad! Got it!

Well, now that that's all set, let me take you for a mini-tour!

Here's the foyer, where I sit to put on my shoes.

Hey! You caught me cheating! Ok, sometimes Mom still helps with the tricky velcro ones...

Here's our living room! It's great! I spend most of my awake-time in here, reading my head off! New book! New book!

This is where I keep my books, so I can get at them any time. This one has mirrors in it, so that I can kiss myself. Well really, can you blame me?

Mom and I sit on the couch a lot. We eat bon-bons and watch soaps all day, Dad. HA! As if!

We're still working on the yard. And by "we," I mean that I watch from inside, while Dad works out in the hot sun. He planted two trees today! Peaches and pomegranates! I wonder when we'll be able to eat them!

And when it's time for bed, I wash up in the bathroom, and then head to my room, which will appear in a blog in the future, I'm sure!

Salamanders

So, I really, really like salamanders, these days.

Let me show you what a salamander is.

Uhhhh... Lemme see...

There it is. This is a salamander. They are wriggly and slimy and live in wet places. Oh and the other page has some Anglo-Saxons, which Dad thinks is cool.

But best of all, my friend James made me this wonderful salamander for my wall!
