Circus

We went to Lincoln Center and chased the moving signs for a while!

And then, even better, we went IN and saw the Big Apple Circus!

Liberty 2

It was COLD out there!

But the boat ride was fun, too.

And the building on Ellis Island was HUGE.

We finally got to go to the Statue of Liberty!  We were supposed to go when Superstorm Sandy wrecked the dock!

That's her behind me.  Well, behind me is a crazy man, but behind HIM is the Statue!

 It was really cool.  We should get one for the house.

 How much snow was there in Ithaca?

Not much, but I used it all!

Trains!

 Papa set up his trains from when he was a kid!  He let me play with them tons and tons!

This was the BEST, Papa!  

I can't wait to play with them again this summer! (And to make those houses, Namma!  I was thinking we should do something simple, like this.)

 Welcome to my Holidays 2014 posts!  This will be the first of lots to document the GREAT time I had in NYC and Ithaca with Namma and Papa!  (Oh, and I think mom and dad were there, too, but whatever.)

 Hanukkah was the first holiday, and this was the first time they let MEMEME light the candles!

 They all look pretty relaxed, considering, no?

Yay!  Nothing burned down!  It's a Hanukkah miracle!
