It's all happening...

...at THE ZOO!

Wait, you expect me to go out in public in this hat? With the chinstrap?

Come on, Grandpa! Help me out! What if someone sees me?

We went for the most lovely stroll!

Say Cheeeezzze!

And what a lovely day it was! Bright and sunny (not that that's unusual in Phoenix...).

The best things at the zoo were the ibises! I just couldn't get enough of them! That color is just crazy!

I wanted to take a closer look.

Come 'ere, I'll show you!

See! Look up there!

Can you believe the color of these guys??

All in all, a great day!

Hey! Where are we going? We're leaving already?

See you soon!

A Little Treasure

Hey, look what I found in the living room...

What's this?

Oh, a little treasure!

They say the best things in life are life's little treasures.

Wouldn't you agree?

My Friend Toby!

I was just going through some photos and realized that I never posted photos of my friend Toby. He was really nice. I met him at my Cousin Candice's wedding last month.

Here we are playing with his shoes.

Here I am playing with his eye. After this photo, Dad had to stop taking pictures because Toby got all upset. I'm not exactly sure why though. We were having so much fun!

Gosh, I loved that dress and the wedding as just perfect. Let's all get together for another big celebration...I know of someone that's turning one pretty soon!

Peaches Little League

It's almost spring training out her in Arizona, but it's never too early to start practicing for the season.

Here's my photo for the team roster. I hope my rivals are tricked by my cuteness.

Here I am practicing with fielding a lense cap.

Time to throw it to first base!

It's St. Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I see you, can you see me?

Here is a Valentine heart that I made just for you.

Oh, you'd like me to actually give it to you?

Okay, but first let me check something...

Yep, it tastes okay to me!

Blocks

Lately, I've been really stepping up my educational curriculum. Round pegs fit in round holes. Who would have guessed it?

Next week: Triangles!

Backpack Giggles

Every night, Dad takes me for a ride in my backpack.

For some reason, it just cracks me up, every time!

Bling

My Aunt Steph decided that I was low on the bling-bling, so she hooked me up!

Aw, yeah! What up, G?

I'm thinking that, instead of an Anglo-Saxonist, I might be a rapper. I think that there is a niche market for a female Jewniese rap star, don't you?

Oh, yeah. You know I can do it.

Wha? No? You sayin' Roca Wear ain't me?

Ha! Me, I know I'm stylin'!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Gung hay fat choy! Happy New Year!

I took these photos back in December to ring in both the Western New Year and the Chinese New Year!

Here's my more dignified side.

I wish you a very happy and prosperous new year!
Love,
Lela

Let's Take A Stand

I've really mastered pulling myself up to a stand, which is great for all sorts of things.

I can use it to pull stuff off the shelf...

To grab at Dad's art books -- Oooh! That one looks expensive!

To rummage in the fridge -- Hmmmm... I think I could go for some chocolate milk today!

And even to help mom with the dishes.

But best of all, I can reach up for Dad!

Arrrrrrr! I'll get you this time!

Go New York!

Well, I'm not really a football fan, but the Super Bowl was here in Phoenix and my Giants were playing!

I had a front row seat.

Go New York! (And this year, the Yankees too!)

Candice's Wedding II

All the usual (unusual) folks were there:

There's the three of us.

And Aunts Cindy and Ari.

And Grandma Mim and Grandpa Did!

And Great Aunt Shelle (on the right) with Richard's mom Vicky.

Mom and I were stylin', as always.

Aunt Ari and I had fun dancing!

And then the whole family cut it up on the dance floor!

Uncle Jeff was a dancin' machine! (and that's Aunt Nancy, laughing at him, for some reason...)

Everyone gave me a hearty round of applause for being the life of the party! Congrats again Cousin Candice and Richard!
