We all went down to San Fran for a few days! We walked from out hotel to the pier.

Namma and Papa Visit!

Yay! Namma and Papa came back out for Thanksgiving! We had a GREAT time!

Of course we read a million books!

And Namma and I cooked up a storm!

And, being the modern, blogger types that we all are, we gathered 'round the laptop to watch some classic Bert and Ernies. Mom, Dad -- when I am older, can we have a real TV. You know, like kids back in the 50s had?

Thriller

So, about a million years ago, back when Dad had a red leather jacket and parachute pants, there was apparently a song called "Thriller."

So, now, a million years later, people all over the world dress up like zombies and do the same funny dance from the video.

Here is a little one! How cute.

I had to go into the crowd to take a look. I'm not really 6 feet tall. I'm on Dad's shoulders.

I stole Dad's hat!

Mama came along, too. I hope I look like her when I grow up! I took this photo! Pretty good, huh??

Ved's Party

My old pal Ved, from way back when we both lived in Phoenix, just turned two!

We had such a good time seeing each other again!

His party was in a bounce house!!

With giant slides!

I'm brave enough to go down by myself! But it was *really* fast!

This is us with our most natural expressions. Not at all forced-looking.

Here we all are.

And that's us with our moms! Don't be confused as to which mom is whose, just because of the sides they are standing on!

But the *best* part of the place was the Lela-size sink next to the Daddy-sized sink! I wanted to use it for half an hour. Oddly, Dad looked bored after a few minutes. I can't figure out why? How exciting!

Pumpkin Patch

We went, well, I guess the sign makes this clear...

Ok, that's just creepy, El.

Then, I fed some goats with El and Matthew!

And rounded the day out with an exploration of the properties of Buckminster Fuller's invention of the geodesic dome. The physics of it are just fascinating.

I think that the same properties underlie the structure of my cheeks!

I even baked you a cake! It's really nice, and will last a long time. Since it is made of plastic.
