This year, for Halloween, I decided to take off the costume I wear, all the time, as mild mannered toddler Lela, and walk around as who I really am...

Launching into the air, hurtling tall buildings in a single bound, with my trusty sidekick, Dog-Dog-O-Lantern! Dad did a great job carving a dog-dog face!

Social Climber

As you all know, I'm highly social.

And now, I can climb! This is my newest trick, guaranteed to cause minor heart attacks in my folks.

Back to the Pumpkim Patch

We went back to the pumpkin patch with Owen and Anna!

I figure one patch is pretty much the same as another, so I did my Cabbage Patch Kid imitation.

Mom says I get my posture from Dad. I figure this must be a compliment.

Owen seemed quite at home down on the farm.

Anna took us for a spin! Look at how nicely they match each other. Mom.

So, um, Owen, do you think you can get your mom to pull a little faster? I mean, I think we could use something with a bit more horsepower...

Hey, what's that over there? Gotta run!

Remember my friend the cow? I worked up more courage this time! I fed him!

Yay! Eat up!

I even gave him a few pats on his head, which was as big as I am!

My Pau Pau & Ghongg Ghongg

Last week, Pau Pau & Ghongg Ghongg came out for a visit! It was great to see them!

Here is everyone in a family portrait.

Pau Pau bounced a balloon off of my head!

And then I bounced it off of hers! Ha! We had a great time!

Then I helped Ghongg Ghongg fix this chair. You've seen our dining set many times, but did you know that they used to be theirs? Yep! Lovely Danish Modern originals!

Pumpkin Patch

We went out to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin for Halloween! This was great for many reasons, as you'll see.

I got to use Dad as a pack animal. As you know, that is always great fun!


I think I see a great one, way over there!

No, sorry, that one is terrible. Hey! What about that one right at the place where we started?

Dad and I picked the perfect one! (Stay tuned! Dad is going to carve it into a Lela-o-lantern!)

Luckily, Dad sprung me from the joint. He's good for that sort of thing, too!


Then, we went for a walk around the place. Is it just me, or is that donkey smaller than normal?

We tossed our pumpkin in a wheelbarrow, and headed for home!
