Xmas 1 -- Preparations

This year, we borrowed a great tree from Bill and Betsy! Bill said we could borrow it if we promised to not give it back. Sounds like a good deal to me!

Mama let me help hang the orm-na-ments, even the glass ones! And we only broke one!

Purple is my favorite color!

All finished!

NOW I WANT PRESENTS!

Froggie in the rain

For the last few days, it has been just POURING rain!

Mom doesn't like it, but Dad and I think it's great! All these puddle to jump in! And I get to wear my froggie boots and froggie raincoat and I can carry my froggie umbrella, too!

Here I am, doing my wistful rainy-day face. Pretty good, huh?

SF Zoo!

While Namma and Papa were out visiting, we all went to the SF Zoo!

Here's a monkey we saw there!

Holy cow, holy cow, holy cow! Look, everyone, look!

A bear swimming!!! Wow!

Have you never seen a bear swimming before? I have never seen a bear swimming in the water before!

At the SF Pier

While we were in SF, we played around some more on the pier!

This is the Amazing Zoltar. Yes, THAT amazing Zoltar:

But don't worry! I didn't wish to be older, all of a sudden, so that I could be a toy company executive. I can rule the world just fine as a toddler, as I see it. So I just wished for a pet zebra to ride!

And I got one!

Thhbbpppit! I have a zebra and you don't have one!
I also wished for a great day with Namma and Papa, and I got that, too!

Gingerbread!

While Namma and Papa were in town, we all made a gingerbread house! It was so much fun! Papa held the walls up while Namma and I put on the frosting-glue!

Now, I'll just take a photo of it to remember it!

Huh. Looks like there is one gumdrop too many, dontchathink?

Humm-er-mumble-mumble-munch! Much better now, no?

Now that YOU are smiling, let me get a quick snap of you!

Hotels and Heading Out

I LOVE staying in hotels! For some reason, the beds are always more fun for jumping! I brought a few of my friends along, to0, because I always like an audience when I jump on the bed.

We stayed at this cool eco-resort near Candice and Rick's, and in the morning, they came over with the Greats to join us for breakfast!

It was great seeing everyone!

But time to hit to road!

Blustery day out here! Let's get going, Mom!

The Main Event

Cousins Candice and Rick hosted the Main Event!

The dinner was scrump-de-li-icous! Cheers, everyone!

Great Uncle Jeff did the honors of the carving. I skipped the bird, though, and went for Great Auntie Shelle's famous Cheesy Nutloaf! Yum!

Can I use the really big knife, next year??

I borrowed some loaner Other Georges. Not my George. He was at home. So these are Other Georges.

That one's on Papa's head!

I had a GREAT time! Thanks Candice and Rick! See you soon!

N and P and SF I

We all went down to San Fran for a few days! We walked from out hotel to the pier.

Papa, what are all of those things??

Sea lions!

And their kissing!

Thanks for the ride, Papa!

Namma and Papa Visit!

Yay! Namma and Papa came back out for Thanksgiving! We had a GREAT time!

Of course we read a million books!

And Namma and I cooked up a storm!

And, being the modern, blogger types that we all are, we gathered 'round the laptop to watch some classic Bert and Ernies. Mom, Dad -- when I am older, can we have a real TV. You know, like kids back in the 50s had?

Thriller

So, about a million years ago, back when Dad had a red leather jacket and parachute pants, there was apparently a song called "Thriller."

So, now, a million years later, people all over the world dress up like zombies and do the same funny dance from the video.

Here is a little one! How cute.

I had to go into the crowd to take a look. I'm not really 6 feet tall. I'm on Dad's shoulders.

I stole Dad's hat!

Peek-a-boo!

Mama came along, too. I hope I look like her when I grow up! I took this photo! Pretty good, huh??
