LA IV -- The Getty

We went to the Getty, where Dad's friend Christine is a curator! She's a medieval person, like him. I think that means they are both really old.

We all went, which was really fun! Here's us and Namma!

And that's Papa!

They have this amazing kid zone, with all these cool things to do, but the best was a giant medieval manuscript page that we could draw on!

Here sits the famous Parisian illuminator, Lela Mittmanus Californiae!

Just look at her technique! No wonder her work is sought after by the kings and queens of Europe!

I spent a while on the big, historiated initial!

This place is the BEST!

Dad liked the royal treatment there, too!

LA -- The Pier

Namma took me on the carousel at the Pier!




I'm so hungry, I think I'll eat this whole thing!

Since I'm thinking about moving here, I've decided to work on my acting: "Alas, poor Yorik! I knew him, Horatio!"

LA III -- The Beach

Hi all! Sorry I've been slow in blogging! I've been really busy watching the Yankees playoffs!

But now, back to LA! And the beach!

Papa, can we go for a walk?

LA II -- Shopping

We had a great time walking around on the 3rd Street Promenade!

Despite Mom and Dad's best efforts, Namma slipped me into a few of the more posh boutiques in Santa Monica!

You all of course know the logo...

LA I

We went to LA for the weekend for Aunt Cindy and Aunt Ari's baby shower! Namma and Pappa came, too! We all stayed in a big hotel, with a fancy elevator!

Pappa, are you busy?

Boy, that was a LOT of posts about that one trip to San Francisco!  It really was a great one!  These are the last of those photos.

Dad told me to go stand over here and smile.

Something tells me that one of use is being mocked, Mr. Monkey...

Zen Garden

We went to the Japanese Tea Garden! It was so nice and peaceful!  Then, I got there.

Here we are on the way in!

And here is the view from inside.  It was so pretty!

I climbed up this whole crazy bridge myself! Twice!

And then I met this guy!  He is supposed to be all wise and stuff, but really!  He just sits there!  Me, I was running all over the place.  I'll have to explain MY philosophy to him, next time...
