Zoo 3

The Zoo has this great playground. Ok, well, it has an Ok playground. Well, it has a playground, and I had fun there, regardless.

See, they have this cement ostrich (?) which was fun. Hard and immobile, but fun.

And this similarly cement slide. See how my hair seems to be flying as I woosh down the slide? But then, see how the kids behind me are standing? On the "slide"? Not sliding?

Memo to file: Cement slides don't seem to work.

But my butterfly wings are great!

I took this photo of mom and dad smiling to thank them for taking me to the zoo!

Zoo 2

It was pretty hot at the Zoo, so Dad got himself a guava ice cream!

I promptly stole it, of course!

You want a bite of this, Dada?

I dunno...

Noooooo! Oh, well, maybe....

Ok, here you go!

Zoo 1

Mom and Dad and I went to the Zoo!

What are THOSE?

They're called bongos? Really? (Don't worry -- Dad checked. They don't make them into drums.)

Look at THAT guy!

He's a lemur. They were really funny!

We had a great time! Let's go back soon!

Fairytale Land

While we were down in the City, we also went to Fairytalefunderlandia, or something like that! Do you remember? I came here ages ago!

Here are wee three gals on the throne. Personally, I don't like sharing the royal throne.

That's better! Now the kingdom is mine, all mine!

What shall I do with it, I wonder...?

First, some more horse riding! After I mastered a real pony, this one was a piece of cake! Heck, I rode these when I was just a little kid!

And after that, giant turtles are a cinch!

But really, why ride out in the elements when you can ride in style?

This is one of my favorite toys in the world. With it I can do magic!

Abracadabra! I have made water appear!

Onward to conquer other lands!

See you later!

Pony Ride!!!!!!

Namma came out for a visit! Yay! And we went down to the Big City (why is Dad laughing as I type this?) to pick her up, and while we were there...

I went for a pony ride!!! I am a bit apprehensive...

But I think I like it!

I like it! I like it!

Watch me, Namma!

Yeeeee-haaaa! I'm ready for the rodeo!

Ooooooo-yeah! I'm a cowgirl!

Artiste!

Dad says that I am becoming a real artiste! He should know! He's an artiste historian.

Here is the artist at work!

Art is fun!

Note my great steps toward verisimilitude! This is Bert!

See? It looks JUST like him!

And this is Ernie! Again, can't tell him from the real thing! Such naturalism!

Oh, WOW! That's amazing!

Now, don't go selling these on the web and infringing on my copyright...

Posing with my beach ball

Just getting ready for a day at the river! I'm leaning on my picnic table, posing with my beach ball!

Resting

Every so often, I like to remind my readers that even I get tired out, sometimes, and need to rest. When I play, I play hard. Now, here's me napping just as hard. Sorry about the location, George...

Just me in my hat

I've had this hat for a while, but haven't worn it in ages! Nothing clever to say, here, just a few photos of me!

Namma, does this photo remind you of Great-Grandpepa's painting of Aunt Ari in her ballerina tutu?

Where the Wild Lelas are!

As I'm sure you all know, there was this night that Max wore his wolf-suit,* and made mischief of one kind and another...

That sounded like such a good idea, I thought I'd give it a try!

Come here a little closer...

ROAR! Oooh! Look how scary I am! Arrrrrg!

You don't think I'm scary?

*Note to Great Aunt Shelle and Great Uncle Jeff -- you gave me my copy of Where the Wild Things Are, which I love to read!

Down at the Creek II

We went back to the creek with Ella and her family!

We asked Amaya to come with us in the water, but she said she was too tired!

So we got Mama to come with us instead.

Do you like the river, Ella?

The whole Ella Family had a great time. We'll all have to go again!
