Just a typical morning here in our household!

BIG art at LACMA

 

Everything is oversized in LA!  Even the art!  This this was like a giant heap of spagetti!

And this Serra inside was massive!

But the biggest thing was the boulder that Dad lifted to get just into the right spot...

We went to visit the Twins, and Paulina and I went to the park to play!

Remember when I was the little kid in the bucket swings?

Now, I'm the big kid who pushes the little kid in the bucket swings!

And then I taught Paulina about the planets. [Actual conversation:  "That one's Saturn, and that one's Earth, and I don't know what that one is, and, hey, this must be really old!  They still have Pluto as a planet!"]

Ok, we're off to the deserts of Arabia!  See you all later!

Santa Monica

 We drove down to LA, and hit the beach.  Hey, if you're back in CA, might as well live it up, right?

Here's Dad and me.  What's that sign behind us say, anyway?  Oh, "Keep off"?

 And just like that, we're back in California!

Follow this great explorer on a jungle safari!

 Look at that beautiful leopard, and such a powerful and handsome lion!

 And have you ever seen a finer looking kangaroo and joey?

Goodbye, New York!

 Well, that was the best trip ever.  We had an amazing time in New York City, and I hope we go back soon!

 For a farewell, we cruised out to see Lady Liberty, herself.  Beautiful!

And, just like that, six months after we left, we hopped a flight back to California...  Goodbye, New York!  Thanks for all the wonderful memories!
